I’m a former professional cook who now focuses on food for longevity.

Bricks and Mortar Food exists for adults over 40 who want to feel better, stay strong and age well without counting calories or following another ‘diet’.

Like many of us, I reached a point where I was no long in control of my health. I needed to give it more attention but was burnt out from logging food, weighing every portion and feeling like food was constantly on my mind.

The answer was rather simple. I needed to build a better plate. One meal at a time.

Today, I teach a food-first approach to longevity that is built on a simple structure, approachable cooking and an improved relationship with food itself.
